Practice Areas
Marc Lenaers leads the firm’s investment funds practice, advising global asset managers and fund service providers on the structuring, operation and restructuring of a wide range of regulated and unregulated investment funds. His expertise covers private equity, real estate, hedge funds, debt funds, venture capital and funds of funds, with a particular focus on alternative investment funds and cross-border investment structures. As a fully qualified lawyer, he also represents international and domestic clients in complex fund litigation matters.
Professional Experience
Marc brings more than 18 years of experience in the investment funds sector. Before joining Wolff & Partners, he worked as a managing associate in the Luxembourg office of a leading international offshore law firm, advising international clients and investment managers on a broad range of regulated and unregulated investment vehicles. His career includes senior positions at Luxembourg law firms, where he notably led the funds practice of one firm’s New York office, as well as a role as Head of Legal Fund Engineering at a major international bank.
